The Players Dressing Room
The team dressing room is big enough to accommodate twenty two players, as this is necessary for International matches. The facilities are impressive, a spa pool, two small baths, six showers and toilets as well as a warm up room. There are video facilities too which are useful for studying team tactics. The team strips are laid out before a match by the Kit Manager. It is his job to get to know the personal likes and dislikes of each player, for instance whether they prefer long or short sleeve shirts or if they will require a clean shirt at half time. The Kit Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the correct kits are taken to away games. The away team's dressing room is not quite as impressive as United's dressing room, it does not have a spa bath or warm up room. This is because the visiting teams only arrive at the ground one hour before kick-off and leave shortly after the match. There is also a fully equipped Medical Room close to the Dressing Rooms. This room is usually only used on match days as most treatment is done at The Cliff Training Ground. The Laundry All the club's laundry is done at Old Trafford in a building adjacent to the Megastore. On a winter's Monday morning, the laundry team can find themselves having to wash 800 pieces of kit that have been worn by the various teams on the previous Saturday!
